At Vicuña, we are promoting the exploration and development of a world-class copper district, with a view to integrating the Filo del Sol and Josemaría deposits. Our focus is on consolidating a shared vision that will enhance the growth of Argentina and Chile, laying the foundations for a new generation mining project.

We carried out the 2nd Participative Monitoring 2025 together with representatives of the communities of Iglesia and Jáchal.
First it was carried out in La Chigua, where we took a water sample and recorded the parameters on site. We then accompanied the SGS laboratory, following/custodianship of the samples from reception to analysis. The laboratory professionals carried out each step of the process together with the participants, with whom they maintained fluid contact and discussed their concerns.
We are convinced that monitoring is a necessary environmental care tool to continue raising awareness and is essential for transparency with the community.
