We participated in the Working Table in Jáchal

On May 29, a new meeting of the Working Group that we have been holding for more than four years was held. On this occasion, the meeting took place in Jáchal, as a result of an agreement between the chambers of Iglesia and Jáchal, which we joined in order to continue strengthening participation and joint work in the territory.

The seminar was divided into two parts. The first part was in charge of the Project's Procurement team, which presented the procurement and contracting processes, and answered the questions and concerns raised by the representatives of the chambers. The second part was coordinated with the presence of the person in charge of the UTE Semisa-Terussi (contract for the construction of the Northern Corridor Sections EyF), who met with the representatives of the chambers to survey the local supply of goods and services.

The meeting was attended by the Vicuña Project team: Osvaldo Ruiz, Flavia Agüero, Zamira Sassu, Leonela Esquivel, Fernando Herrera and Mariano Archilla, with the mediation of Javier Manini.

The chambers present were CAPRESMI, CAPSEMIJA, CAESII, TIERRA MINERA and AITURIC, with whom an open and transparent dialogue was held, aimed at continuing to generate local opportunities from the development of the Project.

"These spaces are key to building bonds of trust and advancing in the genuine integration of local suppliers into the Project's value chain. Listening, responding, and building together is part of the commitment we have assumed from day one," said Mariano Archilla, one of the team's assistants.

From the Project, we value the participation of the chambers and their willingness to dialogue, convinced that sustainable development is built together, with presence in the territory and with a long-term view.
