We achieved a new drilling milestone at Filo del Sol

As part of the sustained progress of the Project, we are pleased to share a new achievement reached in the framework of the 2025 Drilling Program at the Filo del Sol deposit.
During the early morning of Wednesday, May 14, in the platform located in the Filo target, well FSDH142, we reached 2,012 meters of drilling. This mark, achieved in extreme conditions with -23 °C of thermal sensation, represents a new record for the Vicuña District and for Argentina, as it is the deepest well drilled in the high mountain range using the Trucore tool for oriented cores.
"This technical milestone is a reflection of the consistent work we have been doing to continue to understand the geology of the deposit. Reaching this depth is not the goal in itself, but it allows us to access increasingly valuable information for the development of the project," said Juan Arrieta, Geology Manager.
Drilling of the FSDH142 well began on February 15 and was recently completed, thanks to the coordinated effort between Vicuña's Geology and Drilling teams, and the Boart Longyear contractor's team in charge of the drilling.
"This result is an example of what can be achieved when there is planning, commitment and technical excellence. We congratulate all those who took part and encourage them to continue working safely during Plan Invierno 2025," said Mariano Mongan, Director of Services.
We celebrate the new momentum for the development of San Juan, Argentina, Chile and the region, with copper as an engine of growth and connection.
