Along with continuing to provide welfare conditions for our on-site team, we seek to strengthen the local value chain by expanding opportunities.

In Vicuña we started the bidding process to renew the contracting of the integral food, cleaning and hotel services that support our activities on site, at more than 3,000 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Andes Mountains.

The objective is to guarantee adequate conditions for those working in the field and to accompany the operational growth foreseen for the next stages.

During this week, formal invitations were sent to the potential bidders identified by Vicuña's Procurement area and the chambers of mining suppliers were officially notified of the start of the process.

 The process will include different stages: site visits, business rounds with companies in the area, consultations, presentation of proposals, evaluation and awarding.

Our commitment to local development

As part of our sustainable development policy, priority will be given to proposals that promote local employment and the purchase of goods and services in San Juan. In addition, we will ask each bidder to submit a proposal detailing how they will engage with the community and how they plan to generate value in the local environment.

This process reaffirms our commitment to competitive bidding processes, the well-being of our team and the strengthening of the supplier ecosystem that makes the Project's progress possible.
