"Otras Formas de Volver a Nacer" was presented at San Juan's house in Buenos Aires.

As part of the celebrations for Women's Month, on Tuesday, March 25, the House of San Juan in Buenos Aires hosted the Meeting of Mining Women. This space sought to highlight and consolidate the female role in the industry, through testimonies and shared experiences.
Vicuña was represented by Soledad Méndez and Mercedes Pagés, from the Community Relations area, who presented the book "Otras Formas de Volver a Nacer" (Other Ways of Being Born Again). This publication, launched in October 2024 at the Pismanta Tourist Node, compiles two years of work and reflects the undertakings and life stories of the beneficiaries of the social investment program "Mujeres en Red" (Women in Network) of the department of Iglesia, San Juan. During the presentation, the members told the audience about the composition process that took more than a year and also commented on Vicuña's perspective on community relations and social policy.
Mercedes Pagés highlighted the importance of the program and its impact on the community, ''Otras Formas de Volver a Nacer is more than a book, it is the heartbeat of a community that found in unity the strength to be reborn. It was a very gratifying day for the mining industry, not only for sharing with colleagues, but also for seeing how the work of each one strengthens the industry.''

"Women in Network: A Space for Empowerment
This initiative was born in 2022 as a social investment program to strengthen entrepreneurship and, primarily, to build the first network of women in the Iglesia. Currently, it brings together nearly 60 women from Iglesia, who actively participate in the various lines of work offered. These range from technical advice and training to financial support, coaching, mentoring and the opening of new commercial channels. The book presented is a reflection of the development opportunity offered to a group of women.
